Today Global Garage Sale brought our company van to exhibit at the 33rd Shelburne Farms Harvest Festival. The van runs on compressed natural gas (CNG) rather than petroleum, which is much cleaner and better for the environment. The source of the gas is also primarily domestic, with 98% coming from North America. It is still a fossil fuel, but is a step in the right direction towards zero emission vehicles.

Today we sold another unique piece of Vermont history, an Antique 1853 Middlebury College Silver Water Pitcher. This pitcher is inscribed on the front; "Presented to J. B. Bittenger by the Students of Middlebury College 1853." J. B. Bittinger was a Middlebury professor for several years, as well as a well known pastor in Pennsylvania and Ohio. This rare piece was purchased by the Middlebury College Museum of Art for their collections. The auction started at $49.99 and ended with a high bid of $667.
