1956 Ford F100 Custom Street Rod Lincon 460ci V8

This auction is for a truly original and amazing 1956 Ford F100 Custom Street Rod. The collector is reducing his classic car holdings as he does not have the time to enjoy them all. This vehicle has gone through a professional frame up restoration in 1982 and painted a dark shamrock green. It has been stored in a climate controlled garage, runs great, and has a current inspection / registration. This vehicle has been entered in several car shows, winning first place in a few and placing in the others. The restoration of this classic truck included custom installation to replace many components from a 1976 Ford Lincoln Continental. The 460 ci V8 motor was rebuilt and accessorized for the installation in this custom truck. Air conditioning, the transmission, automatic door locks / windows / power breaks and tilt / power steering systems also came from the 1976 Lincoln and seamlessly installed. The custom interior is decorated in a shamrock green with custom seats and carpeting. The rear end is a custom Ford 9" inch and all the hubs have all been converted to the Knock-Off chrome spoke wheels - like corvettes. The front tires are GR60-15, while the rear are LR-60-15 and both sets are in great condition. The rear fenders are fiberglass parts as are the running boards on this truck. The owner has replaced the radiator in the past year and has added a chrome radiator grill. This show truck is in need of some light attention to make show ready once again. The paint has a couple minor nicks but no dents anywhere on the truck's body and a small amount of light rust is just starting on the driver's side door. A few exposed bolts have a light rust and some chrome needs buffing. Over all this rare truck is an amazing find and could be your next winning entry or just a great cruiser.
