Currier & Ives Kittens Colored Lithograph Print 1870 NR

This auction is for an original hand colored lithograph from Currier & Ives. It is titled "My Little White Kitties. Playing Ball." Under the actual image is "Published By Currier & Ives, Entered According To Act Of Congress In The Year 1870, By Currier & Ives In The Clerks Office Of The District Court Of The United States For The Soutern District Of New York. 152 Nassau St. New York." The image of the cats is approximately 12.5" inches by 8" inches. The print itself is about 15.5" inches by 11.5" inches. The frame is approximately 17" inches by 13" inches. The print has some yellowing and and some discoloration which is mainly on the left side. There are also some tears in the lower right hand corner which appear to be about 1" inch long. The frame has a moderate amount of scuffs and the wood backing has a hole about .5" inch in diameter. Please scroll down to view all of our photos.
