Antique Cast Iron Jolly Black Americana Mechanical Bank
This listing is for an antique mechanical bank from around 1900. This bank features a jovial black man in a green and red shirt, matching hat, and white bow tie. When you push the lever on his back, he raises his hand to his mouth to deposit the coin and his eyes roll back in his head. The back of the bank reads "Jolly N***** Bank" and under that it appears to read "PAT MARI 4832" but it's difficult to decipher. The bank measures approximately 8.75" inches high and 4.75" inches wide at the base. It's in very good condition with minor paint wear, some corrosion on the top, and moderate corrosion on the base. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss out on your chance to win!
