Antique 1920s RCA Radiotron Kallus Doll Maxfield Parrish
This listing is for a very rare RCA Radiotrons doll produced by the Cameo Doll Company in the late 1920s. This wonderful doll is called the RCA Sellin' Fool, created by master doll artist Joseph Kallus and based on a design by famous illustrator Maxfield Parrish. It was used as an advertising display for RCA, and the slots in the hands were used to hold different advertising flyers. The hat is in the shape of an old radio tube. This doll is made of jointed wood with a composition body and head. It stands about 16" inched tall and is in very good overall condition. There is some moderate cracking and crazing on the body and some minor wear to the paint on the wood. We have no reserve price on this rare doll, so don't miss your chance to win!
