Vintage 1950s Radio Shack Speaker Horn + Driver 15ohms
This listing is for a huge Radio Shack midrange speaker horn from the 1950s. This horn is Model PM62RS3 and is listed at 15 Ohms. It measures 24" across at the widest point, 9" wide at the flared opening, and 26" inches long including the driver. It just came out of a 1950 Electro-Voice Brociner corner cabinet which was a Klipschorn style unit licensed by Klipsch in the 1950s. The cabinet originally had an Altec top end. The Altec was replaced in the '50s with this midrange horn and a small Electro-Voice Model T35 tweeter horn and crossover. This cabinet was in the possession of the original owner until this month when he decided to sell it through Global Garage Sale. We sold it to a buyer who wanted the speakers removed and shipped to him. We did the work and then the transaction was never completed, so we are now selling the individual speakers. The Stephens 15" woofer, Electro-Voice horn and crossover, and Brociner K16 Dividing Network are currently listed separately on eBay. They are all in good working condition and were being used daily until last month. Due to the nature of vintage electronics this speaker horn is being sold as-is. We have no reserve price on this listing, so don't miss your chance to win.
