Antique 1800s Lace Up Shoes/Boots +6 Pairs Stockings NR
This listing is for a pair of antique ladies shoes from the 1800s along with six pairs of antique stockings. The shoes measure about 10" inches long, 3" inches wide, and 9" inches high with a 2" inch heel. Printed on the lining of the shoes is "38 11 257556R" and what appear to be two little half moons. Stamped in gold above that is what appears to be "Trademark Reg. U.S. Pat." with someone else we can't quite make out. The stockings include four white pairs and two black pairs. They range from about 21" to 24" inches in total length. The seller told us that the white stockings are hand loomed cotton lisle and the black ones are silk. The white pairs have thin red lines around the top and various initials including S.V.A. and what looks like ESQ. The black pairs have cream colored toes and lines at the top. The shoes are in good condition with moderate scuffs and wear. The right shoe has a small tear about 1.5" inches long above the heel which has been partially repaired. The lace on the left shoe is missing a bit on one end. The stockings are in good condition with some discoloration and a few small holes. This listing has no reserve price so bid now!
