1952 US Navy LCP 36' Landing Craft Blueprints Contract
This listing is for a great set of 20 original 1952 blueprint plans for a U.S. Navy LCP 36' Landing Craft, and a 1954 build proposal and contract for building the ships. These full size blueprints are labeled "36' LANDING CRAFT LCP(L) MARK I" along with "Navy Department Bureau Of Ships Wash DC", and were prepared by Higgins, Inc of New Orleans, LA. They are all 30" inches in height and vary in length, with the longest one being about 116" inches long! The contract, in addition to inviting proposals for "four LCP(L) Mark I's", also provides an extensive list of Detail Specifications. It was sent to the Shelburne Harbor Ship & Marine Construction Co in Shelburne, Vermont in February of 1954. The plans and contract are in good condition with minor scuffs, discoloration, and edge wear. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
