1948 Dwight D. Eisenhower Ike Signed Anti-War Letter NR
This listing is for an original signed letter from Dwight D. Eisenhower. It's dated February 20, 1948 and signed by Ike at the bottom. The letter reads in part, "Gentleman: The single purpose of this letter is to tell you why my experiences in the war have excited my interest in Brotherhood Week, sponsored by the National Conference of Christians and Jews." He goes on to say that "War is a renunciation and a denial of human brotherhood." The letter is in excellent overall condition with two creases from folding and the slightest yellowing. The frame is about 13 1/4" inches by 16 1/4" inches and has some minor scuffs. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
