Prints by Sabra Field have been the subject of nearly 50 one-person exhibitions since 1960. They have also been included in numerous national and international juried exhibitions. Most recently she was represented in XYLON 13, an international exhibition of 200 relief prints, which traveled in Europe and North America from 1997-1999, and a major retrospective at the Montshire Museum, in Norwich, Vermont in 1999.
In addition, she has executed numerous commissions in other media such as stained glass and collage. She is best known as the designer of the 1991 Vermont Bicentennial Stamp. Sabra was named an Extraordinary Vermonter by Governor Madeleine Kunin in 1991 and received the 1999 Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts from Governor Howard Dean.
