1975 Mercedes Benz 280 4-Door Sedan 2nd Owner Exc Cond!

This listing is for a vintage 1975 Mercedes Benz 280 sedan. This beautiful 4-door sedan is in excellent overall condition with about 139K original miles. It is being offered for sale by the second owner who works at a garage and has kept it very clean. This car looks and drives great and is ready to drive anywhere. There are no known problems or repairs needed. This is a 6-cylinder automatic with A/C, sunroof, cruise control, power steering, electric windows and the original Becker AM/FM radio. It was bought new at the Automaster in Shelburne, Vermont, where it has always been serviced. It has been stored indoors from November to May and has never been driven in winter.

It had a complete strip down paint job in 1997, and was repainted the original Maple Yellow. At the same time it got new front and rear window seals, new weather-stripping for the doors and had all the seats re-padded. The A/C was converted to R134A in 1999. The radiator was replaced in 2002. Two new Michelin 185/70 R14 tires were put on at 121K miles and two more at 133K miles. Brown floor carpet pieces have been used to protect the orange carpet below, which is in great condition. A copy of the original window sticker is included. The car was undercoated when purchased. There is one very small area at the bottom rear of the left rear wheel well where there are a few bubbles under the paint. The plastic piece on the lower left side of the driver's seat is broken on the top edge. The cigarette lighter does not work.

The original title from the original owner will be included with the sale, along with a Bill of Sale. Vermont does not issue titles on vehicles more than 15 years old, so there is no current title. We have a very reasonable reserve price on this Mercedes, so don't miss your chance to win. Please do not ask us the reserve price, as that defeats the whole idea of a reserve.
