WWII Era US U.S. Army Engineer Corps Compass Plan LTD

This listing is for a vintage U.S. Engineer Corps compass. It's marked "Plan Ltd Neuchatel Switzerland" on the back and the serial number appears to be 40589. The compass measures about 2 1/8" inches in diameter by 3/4" inch thick. It appears to function normally and is in very good overall condition with some scuffs and wear.
