Victor Victrola VVI-70 Talking Machine Phonograph NR
This listing is for for a vintage Victrola model VVI-70 from the Victor Talking Machine Company. The sellers mother bought it in the mid-1920s. Apparently, Victor only made about 18,000 of these players, and this one has a low serial number: 5477. The phonograph measures about 20 3/4" inches wide (with the crank), 14 1/2" inches deep, and 12 1/4" inches high when closed. It comes with several dozen needles and a one-sided record (March Past of Scottish Regiments; The Imperial Bandsmen, London; 110009). The reproducer has the number 4 on the front and 4 "A" on the back. The Victrola is in very good overall condition with some minor scuffs and dings and a small crack in the front right corner. It seemed to work well when we tried it, producing a loud if somewhat crackly sound. This is most likely due to the condition of the record. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
