Antique 1885 Elgin G M GM Wheeler Silver Pocket Watch
This listing is for a vintage Elgin pocket watch. It has the G.M. Wheeler grade, which signifies it as a gentleman's watch. The serial number on the movement is 1866997. Based on our research on elginwatches.org, this piece was made in 1885, is grade 81, size 18s and contains 13-15 jewels. It measures about 2 1/4" inches in diameter, 3 1/4" inches high, and 3/4" inch thick. The watch is in very good cosmetic condition overall. There is a small hairline in the face. The case has some tarnish, scuffs, and tiny dings. There is a piece that unscrews from the top, and it almost appears to be the key but the end is damaged and it doesn't wind the watch. The functionality of the watch is therefore unknown. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
