Antique Ansonia Gingerbread Mantle Mantel Shelf Clock
This listing is for an antique Ansonia mantle clock. Our research indicates this style of clock is often referred to as "gingerbread" and it was probably made in the late 19th century. The clock measures about 15.5" inches wide, 5" inches deep, and 23.5" inches high. The face has Roman numerals around the edge and regular numbers around the center. It's marked "Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co., New York, United States of America." The movement is marked "Ansonia Clock Co. New York U.S.A." The clock comes with a silver colored pendulum and a key for winding. It's already tightly wound so we didn't attempt to wind it any further. The clock isn't currently operating but may with a little adjustment. It appears to be missing a central piece of trim from the top. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
