2 Native American Indian Effigy Pipes Frog Duck Bird NR
This listing is for two wonderful Native American pipes. One is a dark colored soapstone pipe that appears to be a duck effigy. It measures 3 3/8" inches long and 1 5/8" inches tall. The other piece is a brown sandstone pipe that looks to be a frog effigy. It measures about 4" inches long, 2 1/2" inches tall and 2 1/8" inches wide. These items were purchased many years ago at an antique store in Connecticut, and are believed to be from the Carolinas. We found pictures of a very similar duck pipe online that claims to be Cherokee from Eastern Tennessee, circa 1900-1910. We were unable to find any similar frog effigy pipes. We have a low opening bid and no reserve price, so don't miss your chance to bid.
