1920s Dalton Thibault Cast Iron Ash Receiver Ashtray NR
This listing is for a lovely vintage cast iron ash receiver made by the Dalton Thibault corporation in the 1920s. We've heard these receivers were often used on trains. This one measures about 30.5" inches high by 10.5" inches in diameter at the base. It opens in the center to reveal a swiveling ash compartment and is held closed with an iron pin. The piece is marked under the top "Dalton Thibault Corp. Stamford Conn U.S.A. DT-100 U.S. And Foreign Patents Applied For." It has a similar mark on the pin. The inside of the base is also marked "DI-107." The receiver has dark green paint which is mostly intact and it's in very good overall condition with some scuffs and a little corrosion. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
