Antique Sampler Signed Caroline Aria Haines Dated 1834
This listing is for a lovely antique needlework sampler. The piece is signed with a name that appears to be "Caroline Aria Haines" who was 9 years old at the time it was created in 1834. According to a note on the back, the sampler was purchased in 1970 at the Weathersfield Center Antiques Show. There are also two other notes written there with names and addresses, but nothing original to the piece. It's in excellent overall condition with some yellowing and and a few tiny holes that we could see. There may be other issues that we are unaware of due to it being mounted in a frame. It measures about 14" inches by 19 1/2" inches with the frame. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
