Antique Sampler Signed Sarah Elizabeth Topliffe 1803 NR
This listing is for a lovely antique needlework sampler. The piece is signed with a name that appears to be "Sarah Elizabeth Topliffe" and is dated 1803. According to a note on the back, the sampler was purchased in 1972 at the Weston Antiques Show. There is another note written there with a name and date, but nothing original to the piece. It's in excellent overall condition with some discoloration and a few small holes around the visible edges. There may be other issues that we are unaware of due to it being mounted in a frame. It measures about 14 1/4" inches by 18 1/2" inches with the frame. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
