Original 1943 WWII Poster A Careless Word Needless Loss
This listing is for an original WWII poster designed by Anton Otto Fischer. It reads "A Careless Word... A Needless Loss" and shows a navy man's body washed ashore. Printed at the bottom is "OWI Poster No. 36 - U.S. Government Printing Office: 1943-0-506018." The year 1943 has also been written in pencil on the bottom. The poster measures about 28 1/2" inches by 40" inches and is in very good overall condition with a couple of tiny tears. It has been folded and will be shipped as such.
