This listing is for a gold Waltham pocket watch. The face is marked "A.W. Co Waltham." The inside of the outer lid is marked "AWCO R4098 14K." The inside of the inner lid is marked "14K R4098." The inside of the watch is marked "Wm. Ellery Waltham, Mass. Safety Pinion 2680092." The watch is in very good overall condition with light scuffing on the "crystal" and a few fine hairlines on the face itself. When we wound it, the watch appeared to function normally and keep good time but we were unable to observe it for an extended period. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the functionality.
