This listing is for a vintage Edwards Light Beam volume pedal. It's in good cosmetic condition with some scuffs from use. The pedal was just tested and seems to be working normally. It was built by Don Edwards, the owner of Guitar City in Denver, Colorado. Pete Townsend used a Light Beam for many of his studio recordings, including "Who's Next" and "Quadrophenia". The pedal uses a photo cell and light bulb rather than a volume pot so it avoids the scratchy pot issues. Due to the nature of vintage electronics, it's being sold as-is.
