This listing is for a vintage 1954 work by the Scottish artist John B. Firth (1917-), also known as Jack Firth. The piece appears to be gouache rather than watercolor due to the relatively vivid colors. The title of the work is "Sheep Dip On The Shore" and it's signed and dated by the artist in the lower left. It also has his name and address written on the back along with the title labeled and "Society of Scottish Artists 1954." The work appears to be in very good condition overall with some yellowing on the back. It's currently mounted on matting but could be removed from it for shipment. The matting has some foxing, discoloration, and wera. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
