Vintage Hollow Body Archtop Acoustic Guitar W/ Yamaha Hard Case L264 6858 NO RES

This listing is for a beautiful hollow body archtop acoustic guitar. There are no makers marks that we can see other than the number 'L264 6858' stamped inside on the back through one of the f-holes. We used a mirror and can also read the same numbers stamped inside under the top. The back and top look to be solid pieces of maple, and both are nicely arched. The neck and the sides also appear to be maple. The tailpiece is not original, and the tuning pegs have been replaced with Grover pegs. There are two small filled holes where a pickguard was once attached. The guitar plays very nicely with low action and great vintage tone. There is a slight bow to the neck, and the fretboard shows some wear, although we did not notice any buzzing. The guitar looks to have been refinished at some time as well. There are some minor dings and chips on the body, mostly just finish deep. There is some more moderate wear along the top rear edge of the headstock. The guitar comes in a Yamaha hard shell case that shows normal wear and some corrossion on the metal. There is one latch on the end that is missing the buckle.
