This listing is for a vintage vending machine for Planters dry roasted peanuts and Rowntree Smarties. The machine was made by DAN Manufacturing Ltd-Mtl P.Q. in Canada and has text in both English and French. There are three slots for Planters nuts and one slot for Rowntree Smarties. You would select which item you wanted, insert a dime, and get a small container of nuts. Two containers of Dan cashews are included but the nuts are not intended for consumption. The machine is in very good cosmetic condition with some minor wear including scuffs, a few spots of paint loss, and some small dings. The key is included and opens the front door which reveals a clean interior. The coin mechanism slides back and forth but we can't figure out how to pull it out enough in order to insert a dime. For this reason, it's being sold as-is. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
