This listing is for a vintage Pioneer PL-L800 turntable. The seller informs us that the PL-L800 is one step below the top of the line turntable from this series. He also pointed out that it may require adjustment but that it tracks well. The turntable in good cosmetic condition and one of the plastic hinge brackets is damaged. The dust cover is unattached and one of its brackets is damaged as well. The turntable comes with a copy of the manual. It doesn't have a cartridge so we're unable to test it for sound output. For this reason, it's being sold as-is. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!

From the Vintage Knob website:
"Nicely designed LP turntable from the short-lived "Communication Components" series from which the A-9 remains well remembered. The L800 is a little sister of the PL-L1000.
"The linear tracking tonearm is driven by a direct induction linear motor ; the wand is made of Polymer Graphite, a low-resonance material which Pioneer used extensively and almost everywhere throughout the early 1980s.
"The drive system is of the Stable Hanging Rotor kind for a gravity center much closer to the platter.
The specifications are identical to those of the contemporary PL-88F - tangential tracking error excepted :)
"Later briefly available in silver color: PL-L800S."
