Vtg Antique Hand Carved Burmese Wood Wooden Elephant Mandalay Burma NO RESERVE

This listing is for an antique wood carving of an elephant with rider on top. It is being sold by the original owner who purchased it during his world travels in the 1950s and 1960s. The only marking is a 'Mandalay' sticker on the bottom of one foot. It is beautifully made out of heavy, reddish brown hardwood and measures about 5.5" inches tall and 5" inches long. The tusks appear to be made of bone. It is in very good overall condition with a small split above the left tusk and a tiny chip on the tip of the right tusk.
