Vtg Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 8-Day Shelf Mantle Mantel Clock 102 1898 Lion
This listing is for an antique Seth Thomas Adamantine shelf/mantle clock. We believe it's an 8-day clock model 102 and the date code on the bottom appears to indicate it was made in 1898. The clock has a faux marble finish and metal "columns" on the front with matching faces and lions' heads on the sides. The clock comes with the key and appears to work well. We wound it and it appeared to keep good time. The seller informed us that you just turn the key half a turn to wind it for 12 hours or a full turn for 24 hours. As we are not clock experts, the clock is selling as-is. It has some scuffs and wear including dings on the front and sides. The face has wear including some around the right winding pin/peg which is missing the trim ring. The left front "foot" is damaged but has all the pieces and could be repaired. There is a crack in the back panel and another crack on the bottom panel. The label partially intact and has some dark discloration. The four screws on the back appear to be newer replacements. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
