Sony SL-HF1000 Super Beta HiFi Stereo 4 Head VCR Video Cassette Player Recorder

This listing is for a Sony SL-HF1000 Super Hi-Band Beta HiFi Stereo DA PRO 4 Head VCR with twin flying erase head and frame counter. It has some scuffs and wear from use including some mildew spots on the tape slot and front panels. The unit was in storage for years and recently taken out. We plugged it in and pushed the button to make the function bar slide out. We also popped in a Beta tape (not included) to test out the play, rewind, fast forward, stop, and pause functions. When the tape first went in, it would pop back out. We flipped open the tape door and noticed that the tape wasn't sitting flat inside, so we gently pushed it down flat the next time. We aren't sure if this is an issue with the tape or the machine. The image and sound went on and off for a minute or two, but then it appeared to play normally. We adjusted the tracking knobs to get a better picture and took a few photos of the video playing. Due to the nature of vintage electronics, this unit is selling as-is and it does not come with the remote, manual, or box.
