Scherl Roth ER Pfretzschner Antonius Stradivarius Copy 4/4 Violin + Schicker Bow
This listing is for a vintage Scherl & Roth Shop E.R. Pfretzschner Antonius Stradivarius copy 4/4 (full size) violin. It comes in the original Roth hard case with a Schicker bow and a Bausch bridge. The violin measures approximately 23.5" long. It has scuffs and wear from use including some chips in the finish and is missing one fine tuner. The bow measures approximately 29" long and weighs approximately 56 grams. Based on our research, the bow has mother of pearl inlay, a "simple" eye and the "frog" appears to be made of ebony. The bow stick is mostly round but octagonal on the end. It has scuffs and wear from use including on the leather handgrip. We noticed a tiny crack in the tip and the horsehair may need to be replaced. The case has scuffs and wear including some corrosion on the metal and a missing piece on the bottom. A shoulder strap is not included. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
