Vintage Antique 5 String Piccolo Scale Banjo Amrawco Calf Head Iron Cross Peg NR
This listing is for a Vintage Antique 5 String Open Back Banjo. This is a Piccolo Scale Banjo and measures 29" with a 13" fretboard. This is a very unique, gorgeous, possibly handmade instrument with an AMRAWCO Professional Calf Head. The tuning pegs on the headstock are black and the 5th string tuning peg is an Iron Cross possibly made from bone or another hard white material. The fingerboard is very interesting and appears to be two seperate long pieces, made from a copper or other material. We are not sure about the specifics of the materials. There is some rust on the metal rim and there is no bridge, nut or strings. It is in definite need of repair to be able to play again but is a project well worth diving into. This listing also includes a case. We have a low opening bid on this item, so don't miss your chance to win!
