Vega Style N 5 String Banjo Open Back Little Wonder Tone Ring Hard Case No Res!

This listing is for a Vega 5 string Open Back Banjo. This is a very unique banjo with parts from different companies. The body is Vega Style "N" with a "Little Wonder" tone ring. The neck is unmarked but the owner belived it was made in China. The Neck has ornate details carved in it and mother of pearl inlays on the headstock and fretboard. The head of this banjo is Slingerland Supertone "Calf" but is shrinking and is removed from the frame in one spot. This instrument measures 38" long with a 19 1/2" fretboard. The serial number on the Vega body is 62324. It comes with a Hardshell Case that has been repaired with black tape and has a bit of rope for a handle. There is no bridge on this banjo and it does not play but with a little work this would be a great instrument. There is some wear on the banjo from use and age, but it is in good condition.
