Vintage Autocrat 4 String Banjo Resonator 19 Frets MOP Inlay Armrest Case Strap
This listing is for a vintage Autocrat 4 String Banjo with Resonator. This Banjo has very nice tuning pegs, an armrest, and a beautiful Resonator. The only markings on this instrument are the word "Autocrat" on the Dowel Stick and on the Resonator it says "Laminated Resonator Pat. April 5th, 1927". There is a hand written note taped on the resonator that says "Set Up By: CBR 1/29/95 Tom H. 4263643". The banjo measures 33" long and the neck is 16" long with a head that is 11" across. The head is a Weather King Banjo head. The neck has Mother Of Pearl inlays of fret dots and a diamond shape on the 5th Fret, there is also an inlay of a star and two symbols on the headstock. It comes with a Grover Bridge (not on the banjo), a strap, a metal tool that we are unsure of what its for, and a set of strings (incomplete). The neck appears to be straight but there is some damage to the first three frets and fretboard with some scalloping and some letters scratched into the fretboard at the bottom of the neck. This listing also includes a soft shell case with some wear from use and storage. We have a low opening bid on this item, so don't miss your chance to win!
