Paramount Leader 4 String Tenor Jazz Banjo WM L Lange Resonator MOP Inlay No Res

This listing is for a Paramount Leader Wm. L. Lange 4 String Tenor Jazz Banjo. This instrument is a beautiful vintage banjo with Mother Of Pearl inlay on the fretboard with a bell design, and many ornate details. It has a Resonator that attaches and detaches with two sliding latches. There are no Strings, Tailpiece, Bridge or Tuning Pegs on this instrument. The Serial number is 2053 and is engraved on the Dowel Stick. It has a Paramount Label on the inside of the tone ring and "Patented 1848652" as well. The banjo measures 34" long with a 15 1/2" neck and 19 Frets. The head measures 11 1/4" across and the nut is 1". The head says Weather King at the bottom and has some wear from use. There is a crack in the Neck Heel that appears to have been repaired. This listing also includes a Hard Shell Case with plush interior with zippered cover made by Mclellans. There is some wear on the case with tape repairs, and makeshift handle, but is still a sturdy case. The banjo has some wear from use and storage with some nicks and scratches on the back of the resonator, but it is in good condition.
