Rare Theodore Teddy Roosevelt Signed White House Card Signature Autograph +FDCs

This listing is for a rare signature of United States President Theodore 'Teddy' Roosevelt (1858โ€“1919). The signature is on an official White House card that measures about 2 5/8" x 4" inches. It is in very good condition with some minor discoloration. We are also including eight First Day Covers (1 from 1938, 4 from 1948, 2 from 1953, and 2 from 1955), and two blocks of U.S. Postage Stamps. Please see the photographs below, and feel free to contact us with any questions. We are contracted to sell to the highest bidder and cannot end the listing early. This autograph is from the collection of an award winning Vermont stamp collector and historian. The winning bidder will have 14 days in which to have it inspected. We will accept a return for a full refund during this time, provided that the item is returned in the same condition as which it was received. After 14 days we will no longer be able to take any returns. We have a low opening bid price, so don't miss your chance to add this to your collection.

Theodore "T.R." Roosevelt, Jr. (October 27, 1858 โ€“ January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United States (1901โ€“1909). He is noted for his exuberant personality, range of interests and achievements, and his leadership of the Progressive Movement, as well as his "cowboy" persona and robust masculinity. He was a leader of the Republican Party and founder of the first incarnation of the short-lived Progressive ("Bull Moose") Party of 1912. Before becoming President, he held offices at the city, state, and federal levels. Roosevelt's achievements as a naturalist, explorer, hunter, author, and soldier are as much a part of his fame as any office he held as a politician. Roosevelt was 42 years old when sworn in as President of the United States in 1901, making him the youngest president ever. Roosevelt was also the first of only three sitting presidents to have won the Nobel Peace Prize. The teddy bear is named for him, despite his contempt for being called "Teddy".

Please see our other listings for more rare, historical autographs including a number of other U.S. Presidents.
