This listing is for a vintage Ingersoll Mickey Mouse pocket watch with fob and box. Based on our research, the watch was made in the 1930s. All of these items have scuffs and wear from use. The watch is missing the second hand, the plastic "crystal" has come off and is heavily scratched, the fob has the name "Ted Fogg" engraved on it, and there is a loose screw in the box. We found some possible information about the "Ted Fogg" whose name is engraved on the fob. There is a book written by Roger Fogg titled A Desert Rats Scrapbook that mentions that in 1940, "Ted Fogg and Ernest Webster joined The Desert Rats, one of the most famous divisions to fight in the Second World War. They were posted to the Western Desert and fought with the 7th Armoured Division against Mussolini's soldiers and Rommel's Afrika Korps."
