Vintage 1930s Prewar Gibson Banjo Model TB-00 Low Opening Bid No Reserve Price!
This listing is for a Vintage Gibson Banjo. Based on our research, it is model TB-00 from the 1930s. The banjo appears to be all original, but we cannot be certain. It has been in one family for nearly 60 years. There are no model numbers or date marks that we can find. There are some initials in pencil inside the back of the resonator. One looks like JW and the other looks like JW + LDC. The neck is very straight. The flange is in very nice condition with no cracks. It has original Grover tuners, one of which has a slight bend. The frets and fingerboard show heavy wear on the lower 5 frets. The back of the neck has some significant scratches and dings. The back of the resonator has cracking in the finish and moderate scuffs and scratches. One of the hex nuts is missing. The tailpiece appears to be broken. Please see the full set of photos below and contact us with any questions. We have a low opening bid, and no reserve price, so don't miss your chance to win!
