This listing is for a wonderful vintage Indonesian Metallophone. It is made of hand carved wood and painted with gold highlights. There are 14 heavy metal keys suspended with rope above tube resonators. The keys look like brass, but we are not sure. The resonator tubes feel like thin metal. The metallophone measures about 44" long, 18" tall, and 14" wide. It comes with a pair of wooden mallets with cloth edges. The instrument looks to be in very good overall condition with some small paint chips on the resonators. It sounds fantastic! We do not know the actual age of this instrument.
