Antique 1908-26 Imperial Russian 84 Silver Signed Theatre Purse Clutch Bag 8" NR

This listing is for a wonderful antique silver theatre purse. Based on our research of the marks, it is Russian silver made between 1908-1926. It measures about 7 3/4" inches wide and 2 1/2" inches tall, and weighs just under 10 ounces. The purse is is stamped with the 84 Kokoshnik mark as well as what looks like the initials of the silversmith. This mark indicates 84% pure silver. There is a number of leather pockets inside, as well as a removeable mirror and a small change pocket. The purse comes from an estate collection that included quite a bit of fine gold and silver jewelry, much of it from Germany. It is in very good overall condition with some scuffs on the outside and some wear to the leather interior.
