2 Vtg 1940s-50s Swiss Railway Travel Railroad Posters Vitznau Rigi Bahn Pilatus
This listing is for a great pair of rare original Swiss travel posters from the 1940s and 1950s. They are both railway posters, one of Mt. Pilate and the other of the Viznau-Rigi Bahn. They are being sold by a long time poster collector and are in very good condition with some minor creasing and edge wear. Please see the list and photos below and contact us with any questions before bidding. We have a low opening bid price, so don't miss your chance to win!
- Mt. Pilate (Pilatus) Railway, art by William Bordigoni, 1936. Printed by JC Muller. 25" x 40" inches. The steepest railway in the world, above the Lake of Lucerne. Very good condition, crease in upper right corner, small tear on upper edge (with tape on back).
- Vitznau Rigi Bahn, art by Martin Peikert, 1957. Printed by CJ Bucher. 25" x 40" inches. Very good condition, 3/4" tear on right edge, small discoloration in upper right corner, slightly darker along the very top edge (shown in the very last photo below, not sure if this was original to the print).
