Vtg Antique Manhattan Student Brass Oil Table Lamp Converted Electric Tiffany
This listing is for a wonderful Antique Brass Manhattan Student Lamp. The lamp is believed to be Tiffany, but there are no markings. It was originally an oil lamp that has been converted to electric. The upper parts of the lamp have a textured "crackle" pattern. The oil reservoir has a dragonfly on one side and appears to be missing something (maybe a matching dragonfly) from the other side. The connector tube from the reservoir to the burner has a butterly on top, and the base has a lizard on top. It measures 24" inches to the top of the chimney and the reservoir itself measures 11" inches tall. There is a heavy cast iron base that screws off the bottom. The lamp is in good overall condition with minor scuffs and dings. The milk glass shade is very light and delicate. It has a small chip and some roughness on the bottom rim and one tiny chip on the upper edge. The lower glass piece has some small chips and roughness along the bottom edge. The chimney has a large broken section towards the bottom. The electric socket and cord are old and should probably be replaced with newer wiring.
