This listing is for a vintage hand colored print of the 1885 oil on canvas painting "A Reading From Homer" by the Dutch painter Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836-1912). This work is also known "Listening To Homer." The print has the letters "OMHP" in the top right hand corner, and we learned this is a translation of Homer's name in the Cyrillic alphabet. The print is in very good condition overall with no apparent damage. The frame has some scuffs and wear as shown. The print can be shipped without the frame for a reduced shipping charge.
