Chiyoko Minoltacord Automat Citizen Chiyoda Kogaku TLR Camera Rokkor 75mm Lens +
This listing is for a vintage 1950s Chiyoko Minoltacord Automat TLR camera with the original leather case and a Walz 30 w.Y2 yellow filter. This camera belonged to a doctor in Japan who lived close to Hiroshima and survived the atomic bomb. He and his wife both died of cancer 30 years later. The camera was passed down to his daughter, and then to our client. The camera has a Citizen Chiyoda Kogaku shutter with speeds from 1 second up to 1/300 sec, and the lenses are a View-Rokkor 1:3.2 f=75mm (the viewing lens) and a Chiyoko Rokkor 1:3.5 f=75mm (the taking lens). The camera and case have scuffs and wear from use. The camera has some cracks in the outer material and it could benefit from a cleaning. After doing some research to figure out how to operate it, we tested the film advance lever, shutter speed, shutter button, timer, and meter slider. Everything appeared to us to work properly, but due to the age and because we aren't able to do a more thorough test, it's selling as-is. Please see the photos below to see everything that is included, and contact us with any questions before bidding. We have a low opening bid and no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
