Primitive New Era Cast Iron Crank Rope Maker Machine A.D Long Fairfield? 1911 NR
This listing is for an antique New Era cast iron rope making machine. Based on our research, it was made by A.D Long of Fairfield, Iowa and it appears to have the July 18, 1911 patent mark. The machine has wear from use but operates normally. There's a crack in the lower right corner, and the wooden handle has a crack and a splotch of red paint.
