Vtg Original WWI Leather Army Hate Souvenir Button Badge Belt Australia Scotland
This listing is for an original WWI "hate" belt featuring 31 buttons, badges, and other insignia (it looks like one or two were removed). This item belonged to our client's grandfather, a Scottish soldier by the name of Roderick MacGregor from Glasgow. Our client believes he fought for the British and he reportedly shipped out of Canada at one point during the war, but that can't be validated. The belt has trade badges and medals from many countries including Australia and Scotland. The belt has scuffs and wear from use and most of the badges and metals have oxidation.
