Vtg 16mm Movie 1944 Greenwich Village Carmen Miranda 2 Reels US Army WWII Case
This listing is for a vintage original 16mm movie from 1944 titled 'Greenwich Village' starring Carmen Miranda. It comes from a large collection of 16mm movies that were shipped by the US Army to military bases all over the world during WWII to show to the troops. The outer case is stamped 'O.M.P.S. U.S. ARMY' (Overseas Motion Picture Services). There are two film reels inside the case. They look to be in good overall condition with no vinegar smell. The last few feet of each film reel shows creasing and wear. The case shows heavy wear. The visual part of the film is in good condition. The audio part is full of static and very difficult to hear. For these reasons, and due to the age of the film, it is being sold as-is with no returns. Please see the photos below, and contact us with any questions before bidding. We have a low opening bid so don't miss your chance to win!
