Vtg 16mm Movie Reels Hollywood Canteen Bette Davis Joan Crawford US Army Case

This listing is for a vintage original 16mm movie from 1944 titled 'Hollywood Canteen', starring Joan Leslie, Robert Hutton, and Dane Clark with cameos by Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, John Garfield, Roy Rogers, The Andrews Sisters, and many more stars. It comes from a large collection of 16mm movies that we will be selling over the next few weeks. These were movies that were shipped by the US Army to military bases all over the world during WWII to show to the troops. The outer case is stamped 'O.M.P.S. U.S. ARMY' (Overseas Motion Picture Services). The shipping label has a destination of 'USF IB Theatre APO 885'. We believe that APO 885 was in India. There are three film reels inside the case. They look to be in good overall condition with a slight vinegar smell. The last few feet of each film reel shows creasing and wear. There are several sections of film that have broken off the beginning of the first reel and need to be spliced together. We do not have the equipment to view the film, so it is being sold as-is.
