Vtg Antique 1920s Paul Schmidt German Bisque Head Composition Arm Leg Doll 13"
This listing is for a lovely antique doll by Paul Schmidt, made around 1921 to 1925. According to information that came in with the doll, she has a German bisque head, straw stuffed body, composition arms and legs. The doll has a mohair wig, brown stationary eyes, and an open mouth with tiny teeth. She's dressed in white with pink rosebuds and a white cap and once had an orange ribbon around her waist, which is now gone. The doll is marked "Germany" and "Sch 1890 5/10" and was made in Sonneburg, Thuringia, Germany. The doll has scuffs and wear on her arms and legs and her dress is discolored, but her head appears to be in good to very good condition overall.
