WWI Elgin 7J Pocket Watch British Army Military Broad Arrow Mark Jerusalem Case

This listing is for a vintage Elgin 7-jewel pocket watch. It belonged to the seller's grandfather, a Scotsman that serviced in the British army during World War I. The watch has the "broad arrow" or "crow's foot" mark on the back of the case, along with the number "85642 S." Based on the serial number on the movement (19994447), the watch was made in 1916 and is a size 16s. The inside of the back is marked "Philadelphia Watch Case Co. Silverode Imitation Silver U.S.A. 164401." The watch comes in a felt-lined carved wooden case marked "Jerusalem" on the front. The watch is in good cosmetic condition overall with some scuffs and wear from use. It's not currently running and is selling as-is. The wooden case has scuffs and wear and was glued in a few spots.
