Vtg SS Stewart Hollow Body Archtop Acoustic Electric Guitar 9016 Serial 4227 NR!

This listing is for a vintage S.S. Stewart guitar #9016 with serial number 4227. The guitar is a hollow body archtop with electric pickup. It has mother of pearl inlay on the fretboard, a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and a checker taxi pattern in the top trim. Based on the information we found, it was most likely made between the 1930s and 1950s. There are two numbers at the top of the headstock that appear to be "9016" and "4227". We did a brief test with our amp and the guitar had a nice, warm sound. The volume knob worked great but we didn't notice any change when adjusting the tone knob. The guitar has scuffs and wear from use including areas of finish loss. It doesn't have a truss rod cover, the neck is pulling away from the body at the bottom, and it may have a small crack at the top where it connects to the body.
